2024 MPS ASSESSMENT CENTRE WEBINARS FOR SERGEANT & CHIEF INSPECTOR PROCESSES

1. 2024 MPS Sergeant's Assessment Centre Webinars

Dates Available

• Wednesday 14th August 2024

The purpose of the Webinar is to give you absolute clarity over what you need to do to be successful at the 2024 MPS Sergeant's Assessment Centre. You will be provided with clear guidance along with straightforward structures and models that you will become comfortable and confident using to enable you to perform to the best of your ability.

 The Webinars will consist of a full day that will give candidates; 

• An insight into the Assessment Centre;  
• Clarity over what the assessors are looking for and exactly what you need to do to be successful.   
• An understanding of current challenges and context. 
• An understanding of how to comprehensively demonstrate and evidence the CVF,  New Values, A New Met for London & Mayors Plan and score highly.  
• Clear, easy-to-use models and strategies for the Interview and Managerial Scenarios. 
• An opportunity for a bespoke follow up One-to-One Teams Meeting. The  Webinar will be an intensive input. Candidates will then need to continue their preparation, incorporating their newly acquired techniques. At this stage candidates can take advantage of the follow up Teams Meeting to focus on their specific needs; whether reviewing their examples, practicing delivery of any of the techniques or trying some mock interview questions. This can be arranged to compliment candidates individual preparation and Assessment Centre dates. This is included in the cost of the Webinar.    

There will be a maximum of 10 delegates for each webinar to ensure as much interaction and opportunity for discussion and questions as possible.      

                                                                                                                              Total Cost £200pp.   

The Webinars will be delivered by Andy McNaughton, drawing on experiences from his personal promotion journey, assessing & mentoring experience, assessment centre design, as well as having held every role upon which the assessment centres are based. We are incredibly proud of our record of an 85% Success Rate in helping colleagues achieve success at their Assessment Centre.

Booking   To book please contact us via our contact page with your preferred date.  As the outcome of applications will not be known until 29th July 2024,  candidates can secure a place on one of our webinars with a £50 deposit. This will be fully refundable in the event that candidates are unsuccessful at the application stage or otheriwse wish to withdraw. Final balances will be due by Friday 2nd August 2024.

We strongly advise you do everything you can to book a date for your Assessment Centre that will allow you 2-3 weeks following the Webinar to consolidate your preparation.

• Thursday 19th September 2024

The purpose of the Webinar is to give you absolute clarity over what you need to do to be successful at the 2024 MPS Chief Inspector's Assessment Centre. You will be provided with clear guidance along with straightforward structures and models that you will become comfortable and confident using to enable you to perform to the best of your ability.

 The Webinars will consist of a full day that will give candidates; 

• An insight into the Assessment Centre;  
• Clarity over what the assessors are looking for and exactly what you need to do to be successful.   
• An understanding of current challenges and context. 
• An understanding of how to comprehensively demonstrate and evidence the CVF,  New Values, A New Met for London & Mayors Plan and score highly.  
• Clear, easy-to-use models and strategies for the Interview, Briefing Exercise and Written Analysis Exercise.
